My Goals for Seaside

Like many elections around the State this year; The City of Seaside City Council and Mayoral Race is developing into quite a big deal with most candidates hoping to fill the two open council seats while the mayoral race is also up for grabs.

For many decades, Seaside has stood as a beacon of progress on the Monterey Peninsula, a community defined not just by our stunning views of the bay, but by a rich history of multi-cultural cooperation and a shared commitment to looking after one another. From our early roots as a home for the trailblazing integrated service members of Fort Ord and the broader military community, to our modern identity as a 'City of Diversity,' we have always known that our strength lies in our collective voice and our people.

I am running for City Council to build a future where every resident can thrive, starting with closing the affordability gap through a dedicated "cradle to career" system that empowers our youth to stay and succeed in the community they call home.

I am committed to maintaining the superior service of our public safety agencies while enhancing the overall quality of life for every neighborhood. By fostering vibrant economic development, we can grow a robust local economy that supports small businesses and creates lasting opportunities for all of our community. Above all, I promise transparent and accessible governance that remains strictly accountable to you.

We stand at a crossroads going into this year’s City Council and mayoral elections. In order to make certain that Seaside continues to move forward as a city where every resident is heard and our leadership addresses the issues that are important to OUR community.  I humbly ask for your vote to ensure our city remains a safe, affordable, and a prosperous place for us all.
